Evan Scott Shields (he/him) is a multi-talented performer based out of New York City where he is currently a junior at New York University Steinhardt pursuing a B.M. in Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre.

With the disposition of a golden retriever, Evan is the human embodiment of a catchy song that you can’t get out of your head - In the best way of course! He brings a vibrant energy, passion, and five-year old little brother humor to every room he walks into! As a current college student, Evan is fortunate enough to continue deepening his already solid understanding of music theory, aural skills, and sight reading while having the opportunity to frequently juggle scripts in a variety of collegiate productions.

As an actor, Evan tends to gravitate towards earnest characters with a comedic air, youthful exuberance, and an excited energy. He frequently finds himself collaborating in romantic and fantastical worlds or getting to bring that magic into a serious narrative. For Evan, there is nothing better than getting to play on stage and explore new ways to entertain!

When not in a theatre or a rehearsal room Evan is typically found strumming his heart out like the second coming of Eddie VanHalen, discovering new restaurants around the city, sending unsolicited Instagram Reels, pushing the Apple Watches can look cool narrative, and drinking sparkling water.
